Maintenance can include:
- Review of physical condition and electrical status
- Conductor service including visual inspection, torque check and status check
- Inverter service including torque checking wire connections and cleaning filters
- Test for ground continuity and overall system safety
- Array cleaning
Operation Phase:
- Panels are cleaned once or twice a year
- Performance of the installation is controlled remotely via the inverters
- A service contract with the inverter-producer will set-off an alarm if the power production is below estimated levels
- PV panels have no moving parts so your power plant has very low maintenance costs
